Lumen’s Got Talent
Primary nominations for Lumen’s Got Talent are now available from Ms Farrell. We will have Primary heats in the upcoming weeks (dates are yet to be confirmed). So if you can sing, dance, act or tell jokes (or if you have another special talent), get those nominations in.
Guided and Home Readers
We have recently purchased some new Guided and Home Readers. These wonderful new resources need to be covered. If you have any time to cover some of these books, just pop into the library and see our friendly Library staff (Gaye Allison and Lyn Haak). Your time will be much appreciated.

Southern Region Primary Cross Country Carnival
A team of 34 Primary students travelled to Cobargo to compete in the Southern Region Cross Country Trials. Cobargo is a challenging course and the students from Lumen met the challenge of the long hill climb. We had many terrific results and everyone competing showed true Lumen Spirit.
The top six competitors in each race have qualified for the Archdiocesan Cross Country, which will be held in Canberra on May 21. Listed below are those competitors from Lumen who have qualified for the next level - we wish them the best of luck!

Active After School Care
A very big thank you to Mrs Anne Maddock, Luke Taylor from AFL and Christie Collins who helped out in this school’s Active After-school Communities (AASC) program last term. It couldn’t have run so successfully without you.
The children had fun with their friends, healthy afternoon teas, wonderful new activity experiences, learnt new skills and the school received new sporting equipment for all to use. Our program appreciates all you have done for your school and the children.
AASC will be running again during Term 2. Please contact the College for further information - a permission note will need to be completed before your child can attend.
Thanks again,
Kate Baker
