Our College

 

Surrounded by Ben Boyd National Park, the College is 400m from Pambula beach, and just south of the busy town of Merimbula. The College is located within walking distance of Pambula Sporting Complex, Sapphire Aquatic Centre, and the basketball and skateboard parks. The College also boasts a fully equipped gym and hall.

 

The College library is open between 8.15 and 4.15 each school day. Students, staff and parents are able to access over 20,000 catalogued items including books, kits, periodicals, videos, music tapes, posters, maps and CD-ROMs. The library also has it's own mini theatre with an electronic screen, ceiling mounted data projector and computer. A seminar room is also available for use complete with a smartboard.

 

There are six computer labs. Four computer labs have Macs and two labs have windows based computers. Of these, four are large computer labs of between 26 and 28 computers each, and there are two mini labs of 12 computers.  The Art faculty has 12 Macs and the Music faculty has 10 Macs. All Primary students have access to laptops for use in their classrooms. All students have individual network logons and e-mail accounts.

 

In addition to the computer resources, the College has also invested in twenty-five Interactive Whiteboards (IWBs). This investment in IWBs contributes toward a dynamic and engaging learning environment.
